Your donation to the COVID-19 Belgium Fund supports Belgium Hospitals to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations support efforts to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate efforts to develop vaccines, tests, and treatments. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THIS FUND?
The COVID-19 Belgium Fund for the Belgium Hospitals enables individuals, corporations, foundations, and other organizations around the world to directly support the medical sector in Belgium to prevent further spread of COVID-19.
WHO CAN DONATE?
The COVID-19 Belgium Fund is open to donations from individuals, corporations, foundations, or other organizations around the world.
HOW MUCH ARE YOU HOPING TO RAISE?
The first iteration outlines a funding need of at least €1 million through the end of April 2020. In this fast-moving situation, an update to this plan is anticipated by the end of March, and expected to outline a need for greater resources, especially for local response, and research and development. Additionally, as the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, the funding needed for all countries to prepare for and respond to this global outbreak is expected to increase. Donations to the COVID-19 Belgium Fund are essential to help meet funding needs.
WHAT PERCENTAGE OF EACH DONATION WILL GO TO THE WORLD HEALTH ORGANIZATION?
100% of donations made through COVID-19 Belgium Fund will be divided across all the Hospitals in Belgium (dependent on the number of COVID-19 patients).
